How to Create an Album on SoundCloud?
For Desktop
Creating an album on SoundCloud from your PC or Mac is a simple and accessible process. You can either upload individual songs directly to form an album or convert an existing playlist into one.
Method 1: Upload Tracks
-
Open your web browser, go to the official SoundCloud website, and log into your account.
-
On the top right corner of the screen, click the “Upload” button located next to your profile icon.
-
Select the “Choose files” button or drag and drop your desired audio files directly from your computer.
-
After uploading, enter the album details—such as title, description, genre, suitable SoundCloud hashtags and more—to personalize your release.
-
When everything is set, click the green “Upload” button to publish your album to SoundCloud.
Note: SoundCloud accepts a wide range of audio formats, including MP3, WAV, FLAC, and AAC. For the best sound quality, it’s recommended to use high-resolution formats like WAV or FLAC, as lower-quality formats may compromise the listening experience.

Go to the Playlist type section and choose Album from the available options.
