Schedule Instagram Stories with Facebook Business Suite in 2023
In 2023, if you have an Instagram Business account, employ Facebook’s native Business Suite to craft and schedule Stories. The Suite is useful for posting on Facebook and Instagram. To schedule Stories, sign in and follow the steps.
#1: Go to Business Suite
Navigate to your Page and select Business Suite from the left-hand menu.
Select your account from the drop-down menu in the top left corner of the dashboard once you’ve logged in.
#2: Begin drafting your story
You have three options to do this in the dashboard:
- Use the “Posts and Stories” item in the left-side menu.
- Click the “Create Post” button in the left-side menu.
- Use the “Create Story” button in the center of the dashboard.
Clicking on any of these options will open a Story Creator window. Choose the desired account to share your Story with and upload an image or video to begin editing.
However, the Story editing options in Business Suite are limited. You can only crop media, add text, and stickers.
#3: Set up your Instagram Story
When you’re finished, click the arrow next to the Publish Story button to see your scheduling options.
Click the Schedule Story button. Then, choose a date and time to publish your Story.
After saving the date and time, simply click “Schedule Story,” and you’re all set! Your Story will automatically post to Instagram at the chosen date and time.
You can check if your Story has been scheduled by going to Posts and Stories, then Stories, and finally Scheduled.
You can also manage your post here, reschedule it, publish it immediately, or remove it from your pipeline.
Why should I schedule Instagram Stories?
1. Time-saving
Discovering how to schedule Instagram Stories not only saves a significant amount of time but also minimizes interruptions during your workday when sharing Stories. Rather than constantly creating and posting Stories throughout the day, you can dedicate a single session to prepare all your Stories for the entire week.
Once your scheduled Stories are ready to go live, you can effortlessly push them out with just a few clicks. And if there are any spontaneous events or updates you want to share with your audience, you still have the option to post live Stories in between your scheduled ones. This flexibility allows you to maintain a consistent and engaging presence on Instagram without being overwhelmed by the constant need to create content in real-time.
2. Use your desktop or laptop to upload Instagram Stories
How often have you found yourself sending photos or files to your phone just to post them on Stories? And then struggling to locate the right posts in the correct sequence in your camera roll?
With the help of an Instagram Story scheduler, this cumbersome process becomes a thing of the past. Now, you can directly upload your Stories files from your desktop or laptop. When the time comes for your Story to be published, all the components seamlessly appear in the proper order at the top of your camera roll, ready to be shared with ease. This convenient feature eliminates the hassle of manual transfers and ensures a smooth and efficient posting experience on Instagram Stories.
3. Use templates to create a consistent look and feel
Employing Instagram templates offers an excellent solution to craft consistent Story posts that harmonize with your brand’s overall aesthetic and vibe. These templates prove especially valuable when sharing non-visual content such as text, quotes, or links to your blog posts. By utilizing templates, you can maintain a cohesive and professional appearance across your Stories, enhancing your brand’s recognition and engagement with your audience.
The difficulty lies in the fact that numerous Instagram templates often necessitate the use of computer-based software programs like Adobe Photoshop to design your posts. Moreover, transferring your completed posts from Photoshop to your phone for posting can be a cumbersome task.
However, the convenience of uploading your posts directly from your computer significantly simplifies the process of working with templates. This streamlined approach makes it more likely for you to embrace these valuable tools and incorporate them seamlessly into your Instagram Stories posts.
If you’re new to templates and interested in trying them out, we’ve put together a comprehensive guide on how to use them. Additionally, we offer a set of free Instagram Stories templates to help you get started on enhancing your Stories’ visual appeal and engagement.
4. Avoid misspellings and broken links
Typing with your thumbs might not yield the most polished content, especially when autocorrect decides to intervene.
However, by scheduling your posts in advance, you can take the opportunity to carefully plan your text and links. Compose your captions on a proper keyboard, run them through a spelling and grammar check program, and thoroughly test your links. Take the time to explore other posts that are using the hashtags you plan to use, gaining insights into the current trends and topics.
Allowing yourself a brief break from your content and revisiting it later with a fresh perspective is always a smart move. You can even ask a colleague to review it for you. This becomes challenging when you’re posting on the fly.
5. Promote interaction
Once you’ve become proficient in scheduling Instagram Stories, you’ll probably notice an increase in the number of Stories you post, and a higher level of consistency. When your audience becomes familiar with the type of content you provide and the regularity of your posts, they are more inclined to watch your Stories and actively engage with them.
